Teachers and Families work together to make our children’s educational journey a positive and rewarding learning adventure!
Promoting Academic Success for All Students
The Hope Academy is a public mayoral charter school open to Providence and North Providence students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 in the 2021-2022 school-year. Over the next year, it is our vision to create an innovative Kindergarten through Grade 8 school designed to ensure academic success as our students go on to secondary education and become lifelong learners.
The teachers, support staff, administration and families of The Hope Academy have high expectations for our students. We work together to create a wholesome environment and captivating learning opportunities to spark and kindle the excitement of learning in each of our unique learners. Our hope is to guide and challenge our students to develop their learning skills and mastery of essential knowledge to grow not only to love learning, but also to gain the confidence that allows them to share their new expertise with others.
We support the development of each child by:
- Creating a positive learning environment
- High quality research-based, standards-driven academic curriculum
- Differentiated instruction for all students
- Low student-teacher ratios: (18:1)
Our Mission, Vision and Core Values

We are honest and keep our promises. Our conduct ensures that The Hope Academy’s name is always worthy of trust.
We acknowledge and embrace differences and incorporate these differences to form one community.
We strive to be the best in everything we do and we acknowledge and learn from our mistakes.
